The transdisciplinary artist Carincur will stamp the 20th edition of ZABRA with BODY AS A FROZEN METAPHOR, an album that, in turn, is presented as a hybrid device. It is a research and creation project that combines a Virtual Reality app, an album, and a mixed reality installation/performance, all of which share programming, algorithmics, and artificial intelligence.

The sound creation was aided by AI and machine learning tools, such as voice cloning and text generation. This sound foundation was applied to a dedicated VR app, developed and designed to function as a music activation instrument.

This virtual simulation immerses itself in a speculative future, where body samples inhabit space, revealing traces of a haunting past that continue to linger. This universe represents the simulation of future ecosystems born from the fusion of technology and organic matter, where past and future coexist in perpetual tension of the present.

With the VR tool, it will be possible to enter the spaces of performative interaction. It can be interpreted as a game, as visitors will have the freedom to navigate the spaces and make decisions freely, controlling the real-time composition of the sound. With each new interaction in the app, a new and unique composition will emerge, created through the relationship of distance, nuances, and sequence of gestures—a mystical connection between music and nature, as well as a glimpse into the creation of new paradigms for unconventional soundwriting.

The album's launch performance will take place in both realities. The instrument played during the performance to interpret the music will be the VR application itself.
